The BH Series direct-coupled pumps are engineered to operate under the most demanding industrial conditions, ensuring absolute compatibility with corrosive and abrasive fluids through a robust, solid thermoplastic construction.

Key design features:

  • Compact integrated design: Features a direct-coupled motor configuration that eliminates the need for a separate bearing frame, significantly reducing the installation footprint and simplifying maintenance tasks.

  • Sealless vertical options: BHS and BXS models utilise an overflow principle to dispense with mechanical seals, providing exceptional dry-running capability and high resistance to liquids with suspended solids.

This serie is designed to fit on ISO2858 for high performance.
All internal components are manufactured in a material corrosive.

The selection charts illustrate the hydraulic performance range for the BH series at a standard motor speed of 1450 rpm. These curves map the relationship between flow rate and total discharge head, allowing engineers to identify the ideal pump size for specific process requirements.

By offering capacities up to 250 m³/h and heads of 80 metres, this range provides a reliable and space-saving solution for the transfer of corrosive and abrasive industrial fluids.

The BH Series is designed for high-performance transfer in environments where chemical aggression and abrasion are constant challenges. Key sectors include the chemical and petrochemical industries for handling acids and solvents, and water treatment (WWTP) for dosing and neutralisation cycles.

It is also widely used in surface treatment and electroplating for managing aggressive process baths, in mining and metallurgy for chemical effluents, and in fertiliser and acid production where continuous service under corrosive conditions is mandatory.

The BHS (flanged) and BXS (threaded) models utilise a vertical overflow principle that completely dispenses with mechanical seals. This design is a major advantage when pumping liquids containing suspended solids, as there are no seal faces to wear down.

Consequently, these pumps offer exceptional dry-running capability and significantly reduced maintenance requirements, as the most common point of failure—the mechanical seal—is eliminated.

The direct-coupled design offers a much more compact footprint, making it ideal for skid-mounted systems or facilities with limited space. By mounting the pump directly to the motor, the need for a separate bearing housing and flexible coupling is removed.

This not only simplifies installation but also eliminates the need for shaft alignment, reducing labour time during routine motor replacements or maintenance tasks.

Total protection is achieved through a “no-metal-contact” design. The high-resistance metallic drive shaft is entirely encased in a heavy-duty thermoplastic sleeve compatible with the fluid.

Furthermore, the pump body is machined from solid thermoplastic blocks (PP, PVDF, etc.) rather than being moulded, providing superior structural integrity. Optional vapour seals can also be fitted to prevent corrosive fumes from reaching the motor bearings.

Yes. For explosive atmospheres, the BH Series is available with full ATEX certification. For protection against environmental corrosion, the pumps are finished with high-quality RAL 6011 paint in accordance with ISO 12944.

We offer various treatment levels up to C5M, ensuring the equipment can withstand the harshest marine or high-salinity outdoor conditions without structural degradation.
